Los jacarandas estaban en flor

Los árboles de Buenos Aires son espectaculares, hay muchos que son centenarios pero también los hay jóvenes, plantados recientemente. Con el tiempo, a los típicos plátanos españoles, acacias y palos borrachos que caracterizaban la ciudad se han agregado una gran variedad de otras especies. Mis conocimientos son insuficientes, pero en cada viaje, sea cual fuere la estación del año, no dejo de asombrarme. Los jacarandás estaban en flor esta vez y por supuesto mis fotos no pueden hacerles justicia. La Plaza de Mayo
Buenos Aires' trees are spectacular. There are numerous ancient ones, but also new, recently planted ones. Over time, to the typical Spanish plantains, acacias and "palos borrachos" have been added numerous other species. My knowledge is lacking but every time we travel, whatever the season, the trees never fail to surprise me. This time the jacarandas were in bloom and, of course, my photos cannot do them justice.
